In 1901, in Springfield, Massachusetts, champion cyclist and entrepreneur George Hendee partnered with engineer Oscar Hedstrom to create a revolutionary motorized bicycle. By 1902, the first Indian Motorcycle was sold, marking the beginning of a legend that would span generations. Quickly, Indian became the most renowned motorcycle brand in the world. In 1906, it revolutionized the industry with the launch of the very first mass-produced V-Twin engine.
